The first image was taken hand-held with a high ISO of 4000, 70-200 with 1.4 extender, the second one - tripod mounted because at that point it got quite dark.

As far as I could find in my quick search, the title is a quote from Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, but I remember my father in law quoting it quite often, when we discussed photography or architecture. This image is from today's walk with my children in the massif of Ślęża. We'd chosen a side-path but the place was empty anyway. It was quiet and peaceful.
