Eyam
The purpose of this trip was to visit Waterfall Swallet near Eyam, but this was more of a reccy this time. The weather was fantastic, as far as strolling was concerned, blue skies, crisp air, more of a October sunny day. Anyway, such light with stark shadows does not lend itself to photographing deep holes in the ground, and that is basically what Waterfall Swallet is. I'm sure it will make its way here. As for now some dark shadows creeping over Eyam stone houses.

Riders in the storm
Last Saturday I drove to Mt Ślęża, south of Wrocław together with my son and daughter for a bike ride there. As we were leaving it was hot and sunny but as we approached the mountain we were caught in a small but violent storm. We did have a short ride after all and got back to the car just as another rain approached. It wasn't much of a ride but the nature's show was breathtaking and the kids loved it.
We were packed for a short trail ride, so I left my big camera at home and only took the small G11 with me, just in case. Well, it proved to be THE case and I'd regret it for ever had I not taken it.

Buterfly
Noticed this leaf (tree) just beside the dirt road on a family afternoon walk in the forest. Sometimes all you need is some care not to tread on the little wonders of this world (and a camera at hand).
