Every year when we visit Karpacz in winter we hike to Samotnia. As the kids grow it is getting easier and there's more walking than being hauled for them. We always pack extra down sleeping bags in case they fall asleep on the sled. This year none of them did and we all could admire a spectacular moonrise on our way down.
